  Returns & Exchanges - please read thoroughly prior to placing an order, thanks!

Summary:

  • Refund*: return within 7 days. No restocking fee (for 1 veil orders)! S/H deducted.
  • Exchange*: return within 15 days. No restocking fee (for 1 veil orders)! S/H deducted.
  • Special-Order veils may not be returned for exchange or refund. These are veils with non-standard lengths and/or special edging/accent combinations.
  • If it was our mistake in shipping you the wrong or damaged item, we will pay for the shipping charges.

* No restocking fee if order is for one (1) veil; multiple veil orders are subject to restocking fees - see details below. Refund and exchange periods are from the day you receive the merchandise from us. The returning package must be postmarked within this period of time. No exceptions accepted.


Exchange PolicyDetails: Your satisfaction with our product is guaranteed. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within one week of receiving the merchandise for refund or within 15 days for an exchange. 

Returning for refunds and exchanges:

  • Return must be in the original or a similar packaging box, with the tags intact. We are unable to accept returns shipped in envelopes.
  • Because veils are made of very delicate materials and can be easily damaged by wearing them repeatedly, there are no warranties beyond the initial refund/exchange period.

Returning for refund:

  • Note: All of the following policies apply to headpieces as well.
  • Package must be postmarked within 7 days of your receiving the items and before your wedding date. After 7 days, you can still exchange the veil - see details below.
  • No restocking fee! There is no restocking fee if only one veil was ordered and returned for a refund. For orders of 2 or more veils (even if the veils were in separate orders), restocking fee of $10 + 15% of the veil's price applies to each veil returned.
  • If you place a new order at a future date and return that as well for a refund, a restocking fee of $10 will apply. (ex: customer orders veil 1, return it w/in 7 days, orders veil 2 a few weeks later, then returns veil 2 w/in 7 days. Return of veil 2 will be changed restocking fee.)
  • Customer may order and return-for-refund at most 2 veils. Additional veils are not refundable.
  • Original shipping charge will be refunded if it's our mistake.
  • Customer is responsible for the cost of returning the package to us. Cost is reimbursed if it's our mistake.
  • All credits will be placed on the credit card used during the original purchase. Allow 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.
  • Example: If the total for an order (with shipping) was $105.95, the refunded amount will be $100. $5.95 is for shipping. If it was our mistake, the refunded amount will be $105.95 plus your cost of shipping the package back to us.

Returning for exchange:

  • Note: All of the following policies apply to headpieces as well.
  • Package must be postmarked within 15 days of your receiving the items and before your wedding date. After 15 days, no exchanges or refunds will be given.
  • Exchanged items cannot be returned for a refund. Items may only be exchanged at most twice. For example, veil A can be exchanged for veil B, and then for veil C.
  • There is no restocking fee for the first exchange, if only one veil was ordered. If you exchange the single veil a second time, a restocking fee of $10 will apply. If you ordered 2 or more veils (even if the orders were separate), each exchanged veil is subject to the $10 restocking fee.
  • Customer is responsible for all shipping charges unless we shipped the wrong or defective product, in which case we will cover the charges.
  • Once we have received the veil to be exchanged, customer will have store credit for the original amount (less shipping) and can submit a new order within 3 months. Store credit will expire after this period.
  • If the new veil costs less than the original veil, customer may order other items to make up the difference between the new total and the store credit.
  • Example: customer's original order (with shipping) for a veil was $105.95. She returns the veil within 15 days (of receiving the veil) and gets a store credit for $100. She orders a new veil for $50. With shipping, the new order would use up $55.95 of the store credit. This leaves her with $100-$55.95 = $44.05 worth of store credit which she may apply towards other item(s) on our website.
  • If the new veil/order exceeds the amount of the store credit, only the difference will be charged to the customer.

Special-Order Veils:

  • Special-order veils may not be returned for exchange or refund.
  • These are veils with non-standard lengths and/or special edging/accent combinations.
  • For example, let's say you need your veil to be 54" long. This is not a standard length (closest is Fingertip - 42" or Waltz - 65"), thus you won't find any veils of this length in our catalogs. Not to worry! You can call us with your specific needs and we'll custom-make the veil for you. But because this consistitutes a special order, we're unable to accept a return for refund or exchange. We recommend that you view as many photos of similar veils on our website and speak with our representatives before placing such an order. We want you to be happy with your veil, that's the bottom line!

Instructions for returning items for refund or exchange:

  1. Print the Return & Exchange Form so that you can fill out the required information regarding the items that you are returning. Please note the reason for the return. Make sure that this form is included with the package that you are returning.
  2. Indicate if you would prefer a refund or an exchange. If you're exchanging, let us know what you'd like by completing the information on the return form.
  3. Complete the name and address portion of the form to indicate where we should send the receipt or exchange.
  4. Please, when packing, do not scrunch the veil.  Use the original tissue paper and package the veil as it was when you received it.  Pack and seal your return securely (in the original package if possible) and include the return form and the original receipt.  Packages must be returned prepaid.
